Chrome Users, We’re in the Chrome Web Store!

The Chrome Web Store was officially launched on Tuesday, December 7, 2010. For those who don’t know, the Chrome Web Store is basically a directory of apps, extensions, themes and collections for Google’s web browser. Apps are a new concept in Chrome and since AceProject is a web app, we thought it’d be a good idea to make it available in that store.

If you are both a Chrome and an AceProject user, we suggest you add AceProject to your Chrome apps. To do so, go to this link: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/bnilfhgoncpjoccagknfhhepbocjpmkm and click the “Install” button.

Your comments and ratings will be welcome!

Version 2010.11.19 – Sorting Assigned Users on the Edit Task Information Page

After requests from customers who missed this option, we just brought it back after removing it when we took off the “Assignment” tab in version 4.8. From now on, you’ll be able to sort assigned users by first name, last name and username, on the Edit Task Information page.

Over the week, we also improved the application’s performance at many levels. We are confident that power users have noticed a significant change in this regard.

Version 2010.10.28 – Actual Date Fields Added to Task Reports

With the addition of the “Actual Start Date” and “Actual End Date” fields in version 4.8, we had to make these fields available in task reports.

From now on, these date fields will be available in the following reports, at both the project and project portfolio levels:

  • Task Report by Date: Both fields have been added to the date drop-down filters and show up next to the “Estimated End Date” column in the report.
  • Overview Task Report: Both fields show up next to the “Estimated End Date” column in the report.
  • Non-Assigned Task Report: Both fields show up next to the “Estimated End Date” column in the report.
