Here are the steps to assign users to a project:
- Make sure the users have been created in your AceProject account.
- Only administrators can create users. Please refer to this knowledge base topic to learn more about user creation.
- If you already have a project tab in the top frame for that project, click on it and then go directly to step 5 below. Otherwise, select Home => Projects > Projects and then move to step 3.
- Click on the project’s Name link. That will open a project tab for that project in the top frame.
- Select Project Tab > Assignments .
- Click the “Assign a New User” button near the top of the main frame.
- In the “Assign Users” drop-down, users are grouped by User Group. You may select one or multiple users. You can even select all users of a user group by clicking on the User Group checkbox.
- Grant the selected users their project level rights. You can find all details about access rights here.
- Click “Save” when you’re done.
